Welcome to website for Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 53. The District hopes this site will allow for quick and easy access to information for our customers. The District’s objective is to provide the residents and commercial establishments, OUR CUSTOMERS, with a continuous supply of quality drinking water, a safe sewer system, excellent service to our customers and good budgetary management for the present and future.

Attention: Automatic Bill Pay

On July 21, 2025, Harris County MUD #53 changed the billing vendor used to process our “Automatic Bill Pay” for credit card and ACH payments (electronic check from a bank account).   Unfortunately, when the vendor change took place, credit card and checking account numbers were not transferred to the new bill pay processor. 
If you were previously enrolled in “Automatic Bill Pay”, and have not yet re-enrolled , OR would like to enroll for the first time, please go to the Water Bill link, click on “Manage Account”, then “Manage Automatic Bill Pay”, and then choose the method that you would like to use to make your future payments. 
If you have any problems trying to set-up your payment, please call our office at 713-637-8835 and we will be happy to assist you.
